The AB 1791DS-IB8XOB8 CompactBlock is a DeviceNet guard combination module with a 20.4 to 26.4 Volts DC I/O power supply voltage (with a nominal voltage of 24 Volts DC), an 11 to 25 Volts DC communications power supply voltage and a 110-mA current consumption of at 24 Volts DC. It consists of 8 safety inputs, 4 test outputs, and 8 solid-state safety outputs, and with status indicators installed. The inputs of this module are a current sinking input type with an input current of 6 Amps and a maximum off-state current of 1 mA. The 1791DS-IB8XOB8’s on-state minimum input voltage is 11 Volts DC. The 1791DS-IB8XOB8’s maximum off-state input voltage is 5 Volts DC. The current sourcing test outputs of this module come with a 0.1 mA maximum leakage current, a 0.7 Amps rated output current, and a 1.2 Volts maximum residual voltage. On the other hand, the current sourcing safety outputs of the of the 1791DS-IB8XOB8 module have the same maximum leakage current of 0.1 mA, the same residual voltage of 1.2 Volts at maximum, and a rated output current of 0.5 Amps.
