The AB 1769-CRL3 is a compact I/O cable for the DriveLogix 5730 Controller. The 1769-CRL3 is not a module or a power supply, but rather a cable to connect banks or group of modules. It is a right bank-to-left bank expansion cable type that makes extensions for the bus communication lines. The 1769 system can only use 2 cables at most, allowing for 3 banks of I/O modules with their own power supply. The 1769-CRL3 measures 3.28 feet and is usually used on a system of Base Units with a Compact I/O and a Bank 1 horizontal/vertical orientation. The system requires a right-to-left expansion cable to extend the 1769 I/O system to more than 1 power supply. The 1769-CRL3 cables provide configuration flexibility due to their horizontal and vertical system expansion.

The 1769-CRL3's approximate weight is 350g for the 3-foot cables and 300g for the 1-foot cables. It has a storage temperature of -40 - 85°C, an operating temperature of 0-60°C, and a relative humidity of 5-95% non-condensing. The 1769-CRL3 cable has an operating altitude of 6561 feet.
