Product Details

The 1769-L30ERMS controller is a Compact GuardLogix 5370 controller developed and manufactured by AB. This type of flexible industrial automation programmable device is a great solution for small and medium-sized industrial applications and machines with up to 4 axes. The 1769-L30ERMS controller is the brain of the AB GuardLogix control system that usually consists of the PLC itself, 1 of the AB 1769 series compact power supply units, communication network components (built-in Ethernet, DeviceNet, and USB ports), and local or distributed I/O modules. The 1769-L30ERMS controller supports 32 controller tasks (1 safety task) with 100 programs per task. It does not require an external battery because the memory storage preservation is internally regulated. This controller supports DLR, linear, and star Ethernet/IP topologies.

 

The AB 1769-L30ERMS controller is a reliable and cost-effective controller that is part of the scalable and flexible industrial automation solutions developed on the Compact GuardLogix platform for better individual customer application handling. It uses the Studio 5000 programming software environment, and the RSLinx Classic software version is also applicable to it. The 1769-L30ERMS controller can be paired in the same chassis with various 1769 I/O modules, data exchange modules, and accessories. Once the application is put to work, the 1769-L30ERMS controller is always ready for system upgrades and expansions. It can accept up to 8 local expansion I/O modules. All I/O modules must be mounted horizontally to each other. This controller does not support the RIUP (removal and insertion under power), so the PLC system must be shut down for module replacement or maintenance. The 1769-L30ERMS PLC controller can use a socket interface to exchange data with Ethernet devices like RFID readers, Modbus TCP/IP devices, and barcode scanners that do not support the EtherNet/IP protocol.
