Product Details

The AB 1769-L16ER-BB1B is a processor module and it is also a part of the AB CompactLogix 5370 L1 Programmable Automation Controller series with a 4 EtherNet node limit. Using a single IP address, the controller can connect to the EtherNet network with dual built-in communication ports. The 1769-L16ER-BB1B module comes with an integrated switch that supports the linear, the traditional star, and the DLR (Device Level Ring) topologies. Its DLR capability enhances its network resiliency. It can read the structured text, function block, relay ladder, and the SFC programming languages. It uses the RSLinx Classic v2.59 Firmware version 20.1x or later and the RSLogix 5000 version 20.

 

The AB 24 Volts DC 1769-L16ER-BB1B controller offers the users an embedded I/O module with 16 sinking digital input points and 16 sourcing digital output points. It also supports a maximum of six 1734 POINT I/O local expansion modules. If the users are using the expansion module, these additional modules should be installed to the right of the controller and linked within the same system. The total current draw of both the embedded I/O and local expansion modules should not exceed the available 1 Amp backplane current and the 3 Amps field power current of the POINTbus. The 1769-L16ER-BB1B DIN rail-mounted PAC supports up to 100 programs for each of the 32 continuous or periodic tasks. It has 32 sockets and a high-performance capacity for up to 256 controllers, 120 TCP, and 256 CIP connections with a packet rate capacity of 6000 at 500 bytes/packet/second.
