◆ The IC687BEM744 is a FIP Bus Controller designed specifically for the

IC967 family of PLCs manufactured by GE Fanuc.

◆ It is one of four compatible FIP Bus Controllers and is a half-slot module.

Because the module’s architecture has a half-width faceplate, it is perfect

for installation in an integrated rack.

◆ This half-slot module is functionally identical to a full-slot FBC.The IC687BEM744

should be used with a 2.5MHz WorldFIP network.

◆ Like the other four FIP Bus Controllers, the IC687BEM744 allow for TCP/IP

communications in addition to generic messaging compatibility and support.

◆ Please note, FIP Bus Controllers, such as the IC687BEM744, cannot be

installed in a PLC expansion rack in a 90-70 PLC system. However, a single

90-70 PLC system can support up to four FIP Bus controllers.
