◇ The GE Fanuc Automation manufactures the IC694PWR331 power   

   supply module as a member of the GE RX3i PACSystems product line.

   It is a high-capacity power supply designed for use with the GE RX3i

   PACSystems series PLCs.

◇ This module also works as a serial expansion unit which is compatible

    and usable with every CPU in the GE RX3i product family.

◇ The IC694PWR331 power supply is installed in the serial expansion

   backplane of the PLC, and this should only be done after disconnecting

   the power to the backplane. This high-capacity power supply has a current

   rating of 5 Amps, and it can accommodate protection fuses such as the

   44A724627-114 fuse and the Bussman GMC-5-R fuse.

◇ Before this high-capacity power supply is installed, technicians need to

   ensure that the DIP switch on the expansion backplane is put in the

   right position.
