◇ The GE Fanuc IC693CHS397 is a 5-slot modular CPU baseplate. To operate

     the baseplate, users must plug a power supply module into the left slot. This

     slot is unique in size and type, in that in only supports a power supply module.

◇ This slot is not numbered. In slot 1, a CPU or special option module must be

     installed. Similar to slot 2, this slot is unique in size and type, in that it can

     only support a CPU module or else a special option module, for example a

     FIP Remote I/O Scanner (IC693BEM330). Slot 1 is labeled CPU/1.

◇ For all slots numbered 2 and above, users can install option modules or I/O

     modules. These slots are of a unique size and type, so they will support

     either of these. The modular CPU baseplate can support expansion and

     remote baseplates.
