What is the “CC” suffix in 2MLQ-RY1D-CC?
The “CC” likely stands for Conformal Coated, meaning the module has a conformal coating for environmental
protection (moisture, dust, etc.). This increases reliability in harsh environments.
Q: Is this module suitable for high inductive loads (motors, coils, etc.)?
A: Relay outputs can switch inductive loads, but such loads will reduce the relay lifetime, generate surge voltages, etc.
You might need external suppression (snubbers, varistors) depending on the load. The datasheet for comparable
modules indicates surge absorbers are not included in some RY variants.
Q: What is the switching speed / response time?
