- 8101-HI-TX completely modular I/O solution
Description
The 8101-HI-TX is an 8-channel analog input module in the Emerson / PACSystems PAC8000 (formerly GE/8000) modular I/O family. It accepts 4–20 mA field signals (2-wire or 4-wire transmitters)
and provides HART® passthrough and HART variable/status reporting — i.e., it is an analog input card with integrated HART support for process instrumentation.
The PAC8000 family is a completely modular I/O solution for both general-purpose and hazardous-area applications, so the 8101-HI-TX
is designed to work in harsh industrial environments and in intrinsically-safe/non-incendive field wiring schemes.
