Product’s description

The AB5030-B is an industrial communication interface designed to serve as a PROFIBUS DP/DPV1 Master interface (i.e., it allows a higher-level controller or device to act as a PROFIBUS master through this module).

It is part of the Anybus-M family of modules which provide fieldbus or industrial network connectivity (in this case PROFIBUS) for devices.“The Anybus-M PROFIBUS-DP/DPV1 Master

has a 4 kByte DPRAM that allows fast transfer of up to 1536 bytes of cyclic Input and 1536 bytes of cyclic Output data. In addition, acyclic parameter data can

be transferred with Class 1 or Class 2 DPV1 services. It supports connection

of up to 125 slaves at baud rates up to 12 Mbit/s.”
