Description
The 991 Thrust Transmitter is a 2-wire, loop-powered device designed to convert axial shaft displacement (i.e., thrust) into a 4–20 mA signal for control systems.It takes input from a 3300 NSv proximity probe
plus its matched extension cable (system-length options like 5 m or 7 m are supported).The transmitter conditions the raw proximity signal into “engineering units” of axial position and
then converts that into the standard analog current loop output.Physically, the unit is relatively compact (~100 × 74 × 53 mm) and weighs around 0.43 kg per vendor spec.
The housing is made of stainless steel, providing ruggedness and some environmental protection.Environmental rating: some sources say IP67,
meaning good protection against dust and water ingress.Power supply requirement:
typically 12 V to ~35 V DC for loop power.
