The 99-5835-01 I/O board is designed for use with compatible fire pump / controller systems (for example, the “LMR Plus” controllers, in sources referencing related part numbers).It is part of the microprocessor assembly / control-system electronics — i.e. this
board handles input/output signaling, external connections and control relays.On a typical configuration, the board supports external customer connection terminals (for external wiring) at the top of the board.It provides output relays: as
standard, there are five 8-Amp, 2 Form-C (DPDT) output relays. These standard relays are typically designated for functions such as: Common Alarm, Phase Failure, Phase Reversal, Pump Run, and a spare Future output.The
board supports optional expansion: you can add up to 4 optional relay output boards (snap-on configuration). Each additional board adds up to 2 more relay outputs.
Thus the system can scale beyond the default 5 relays for more complex control needs.
