Description

The It is a low‑frequency version of the standard “Velomitor” series, tailored for low‑speed fans (fans running as low as ~ 90 rpm, typical 100–300 rpm) — i.e. slower rotating equipment such as cooling towers, not

high‑speed turbines/rotors.The sensor mounts on the equipment casing or fan housing, and measures casing vibration velocity (rather than shaft proximity). This makes it suitable for monitoring fan

 imbalance, structural vibration, bearing housing vibration, or general condition monitoring of large, slow‑turning fans or cooling tower motors. “Velomitor CT” is

 a piezo‑velocity sensor (velocity transducer) designed for measuring vibration velocity of machine casings

 / housings, especially on cooling‑tower fans or air‑cooled heat‑exchanger fan assemblies.
