The Honeywell CC-PUIO31 is a universal input/output (I/O) module within the Experion PKS / “Series-C I/O” family.It’s designed to interface field
devices (sensors, actuators, transmitters, valves, discrete devices, etc.) with a DCS / control system — handling analog inputs/outputs, digital
inputs/outputs, pulse inputs, and event sequencing — all in one module.The “universal channel” design means each of its channels is
configurable: you can assign each channel as an analog input (AI), analog output (AO), digital input (DI), digital output
(DO), pulse input, or Sequence-of-Events (SOE) channel — depending on your system’s requirements.
CC-PUIO31 is a “do-everything” I/O module for industrial
automation / DCS / process control — analog + digital,
inputs + outputs, configurable per channel, designed
for flexible, scalable, maintainable
control-system architecture.
