Q: Is this just a probe or does it include a cable?
A: It includes both the proximity probe and the extension cable — i.e. it’s a probe-plus-cable assembly, not just the tip. This allows direct
connection to the Proximitor sensor.

Q: Do I need something else to use it?
A: Yes — you still need a matching 3300 XL Proximitor® sensor (or transducer head) for the system to output usable
voltage/displacement data. The cable-probe alone does not provide a complete measurement.

Q: What target material should the probe measure?
A:The standard calibration is for conductive steel targets (by default, AISI 4140 steel). If you use
another material, you may need special calibration for accurate readings.
