The IS220PCLAH1A is a core analog input/output (I/O) module from General Electric (GE), designed for the “Mark VIe”

family of control / turbine‑control / distributed control systems (DCS).Its function is to handle analog signal

acquisition (inputs) and analog signal outputs — making it possible to interface field instrumentation

 (sensors, transmitters, actuators) with the control system for measurement and control of processes.

Typical uses include analog sensor inputs (e.g. temperature sensors like RTD/thermocouple,

 4‑20 mA current loops, voltage signals), and analog outputs (control signals, e.g. 4‑20 mA

loops) — making it suitable for industrial control such as power, turbines, oil & gas,

chemical, water treatment, and other process‑control environments.The module is

designed to fit into GE’s modular I/O rack / backplane scheme

(VME / Mark VIe / IS200‑series chassis), so it integrates with other

I/O modules, terminal boards, and controllers
