proximity sensing to detect changes in distance (gap) between the sensor tip and a conductive rotating target (such as a shaft). The changing electrical signal is routed through

A: It measures shaft vibration and radial/axial position non-contact by sensing the gap between the probe tip and
a conductive rotating target. The signal travels through the integrated
cable to a Proximitor sensor.

A: Eddy-current sensing induces currents in a metal target near the probe tip. Changes in distance
