It terminates the differential pair at the end of a communication bus to minimize signal reflections, reduce noise, and ensure reliable data transmission across fieldbus systems such as RS‑485, Profibus, CAN, and other multi‑drop industrial protocols.Passive terminators like the
TERM‑0001 do not require external power and instead use resistive networks internally to match characteristic cable impedance.
