Description

The Bently Nevada 330103‑00‑07‑10‑02‑CN is a 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probe, part of the 3300 XL eddy‑current proximity transducer system. It’s engineered for non‑contact vibration and displacement

 measurement on rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors, pumps, and motors.This probe uses eddy‑current sensing: an electromagnetic field generated at the probe tip interacts

 with a conductive target (such as a shaft), and changes in field strength are converted into a voltage signal proportional to the gap (distance) between the tip and target.

When connected to a 3300 XL Proximitor sensor, it forms a complete measurement channel for vibration or displacement monitoring.

1. What is this proximity probe used for?

It measures shaft vibration and radial displacement without physical contact. The output signal is used by monitoring systems to assess machine health and detect abnormalities early.


2. How does it integrate into a monitoring system?

It connects via its ClickLoc™ connector and integrated cable to a Bently Nevada 3300 XL Proximitor sensor. The sensor conditions

 the raw probe signal for analog or digital processing by a control/monitoring system.
