Description

The Bently Nevada 330103‑00‑10‑05‑02‑CN is a 3300 XL series 8 mm eddy‑current proximity probe designed for non‑contact shaft vibration, displacement, and position measurement

in industrial rotating machinery condition monitoring systems. It’s part of the Bently Nevada 3300 XL Transducer System, typically used with a Proximitor sensor and

 extension cable to provide high‑reliability feedback for machinery protection, predictive maintenance,

and API 670–compliant monitoring applications.

1. What does this proximity probe measure?

It measures shaft vibration and radial displacement without contact using eddy‑current technology, providing a signal proportional to the gap between the probe and the shaft for condition monitoring.


2. How does it integrate into a monitoring system?

The probe connects via its ClickLoc™ connector and integral cable to a 3300 XL Proximitor sensor. The Proximitor conditions

the raw signal into a voltage for further processing by control/monitoring systems

(e.g., DCS, PLC, vibration analyzer).



3. What sensing technology is used?

Eddy‑current proximity sensing — an AC magnetic field from the probe interacts with the conductive

 target (shaft), and changes in field strength are used to

determine distance and motion.
