It’s designed to provide non‑contact measurement of shaft vibration and radial displacement in rotating machinery. The high‑precision
eddy‑current sensor detects changes in gap between the probe tip and a conductive target (like a shaft),
producing a raw signal that is then conditioned by a Proximitor sensor.

It uses eddy‑current proximity sensing, where an alternating electromagnetic field around the probe interacts
with a nearby metallic target, and changes in that field indicate distance or vibration.
