The RBIP-01 is a BACnet/IP router module offered by ABB as an option for select ABB drives — particularly the ACH550 series used in HVAC and building automation systems.
It enables seamless BACnet/IP network connectivity for drives that natively support BACnet MS/TP communication.The RBIP-01 facilitates
communication between a drive’s BACnet MS/TP network (typically RS-485 cable segments common in building
automation) and a BACnet/IP Ethernet network, allowing drives to be integrated
fully into IP-based BACnet systems.
