The KFD2-SOT3-EX1.LB isolated barrier is a high-performance intrinsically safe switch amplifier engineered for reliable signal interfacing between hazardous and non-hazardous environments in industrial automation systems.Fundamentally, the KFD2-SOT3-EX1.LB isolated barrier is designed to transfer discrete (digital) signals—originating from field devices such as NAMUR sensors or dry contacts—located in explosive atmospheres (Zone 0/1/2) to control systems installed in safe areas, while maintaining strict energy limitation to prevent ignition hazards.
