Engineered with interlocking stainless steel armor and a high-temperature Teflon jacket, the 200151-20-03-00 interface cable ensures ultra-stable signal integrity over a compact 20-foot span. It eliminates the frequent technical pain points of EMI/RFI noise distortion and physical cable degradation caused by harsh chemical or high-heat exposure. This makes it the definitive, reliable link for critical accelerometers monitoring balance-of-plant machinery like cooling tower fans and fin-fan heat exchangers where short-distance routing is required.

"When installing the 200151-20-03-00 armored cable, its 20-foot length is ideal for direct, local drop-downs from the sensor to a nearby junction box without leaving excessive, hazardous slack. Because accelerometer signals are highly sensitive to Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) from nearby variable frequency drives (VFDs), the internal drain wire must be grounded strictly at the monitor panel or junction box shield terminal. Do not ground it at both ends, as this creates a ground loop that introduces false vibration spikes into your plant's DCS."

Field splicing or extending accelerometer lines directly is strongly discouraged. Splicing breaks the continuous shield, introduces impedance mismatches, and risks picking up ambient electrical noise. If a longer run is needed, it is recommended to route this 20-foot cable into a certified terminal junction box and transition to a longer, shielded extension run from there.
