The AB 1785-ME64 is a PLC 5 Memory Device Module. The 1785-ME64 has a memory size of 64K words. The Maximum I/O Chassis Universal Remote of this module is 32 per I/O Link. The maximum number of analog I/O of this module is 3072. The Backplane Current of this module is 2.5 A at 5V DC. The AB 1785-ME64 can be used as a Backup module. This module comes with a Control Coprocessor Expansion Port. Remember to switch power off before removing or inserting this module. If you remove or install the module with the power switched on, an electrical arc may happen, and this electrical arc can cause injury and excessive wear to the contacts on the module and its mating connector. Worn contacts may create electrical resistance and this may reduce the product’s reliability.
The AB 1785-ME64 is an Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM) module. This module is user-modifiable read-only memory (ROM) which can be erased and reprogrammed (written to) repeatedly through applications with a higher-than-normal power supply voltage. The operating temperature of the 1785-ME64 is 0-60 °C (32-140 °F) and the storage temperature is -40-85 °C (-40-185 °F). The relative humidity is 5-95% without condensation. The AB 1785-ME64 has an operating shock of 30 g (3 pulses, 11 ms) and the nonoperating shock is 50 g (3 pulses, 11 ms).
