The 1746sc-INI4VI module can monitor up to 4 isolated analog current or voltage inputs which can be selected by channel. Users can select the input ranges independently by the channel to optimize the use of rack space. The module provides 750 Volts DC channel-to-channel isolation which helps in eliminating the electrical crosstalk between the channels. The 1746sc-INI4VI has 16 bits of resolution and the modules have built-in tests for battery diagnostics for better reliability which run on start-up. The module has on-board overvoltage and overcurrent protection to help prevent damage due to incorrect wiring or any other fault conditions. The thermal dissipation of the module is 3.25 Watts.The device is factory calibrated and users can also enable it to auto calibrate it every 10 seconds. The 1746sc-INI4VI is an I/O module which is manufactured by Spectrum Controls. Before users begin the installation of the module, they should make sure to read the installation instructions provided by the manufacturer. It is also recommended that the person doing the installation have a prior knowledge of the relevant processor to make sure the installation is done correctly and that there are no damages due to incorrect installation. The 1746sc-INI4VI has 4 green channel indicators and 1 green module status indicator. The recommended operating temperature for the device is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius, and the storage temperature for the device is -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity of the environment should be non-condensing between 5 and 95% and the device is certified to be used in Class I Division 2 types of hazardous environments.
