The 2711PC-T6M20D8 PanelView Plus 6 is a compact graphics terminal by AB. Its hardware and software meet the needs of many mid-size applications. With its compact design, it is a popular HMI for use with CompactLogix controllers. The 2711PC-T6M20D8 comes with an RS-232 serial port, an Ethernet port, and with 1 USB port for supporting serial and Ethernet communications. It can be configured with FactoryTalk software which supports up to 25 displays and 200 alarm messages. Either the RSLinx Enterprise software, version 5.20 or later or the KEPServer software can be used for making connections to a single CompactLogix controller.
The 2711PC-T6M20D8 600 compact graphics terminal has a 5.7-inch grayscale TFT LCD display with a resistive touch input. The terminal’s display has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. It weighs 1.31 lbs. and has dimensions of 6 x 7.28 x 2.86 in. It contains a 512 MB non-volatile flash memory and 256 MB RAM. It also supports Secure Digital (SD) card for external storage. It requires a DC input voltage of 18 - 30V DC (24V DC nominal) and its maximum power consumption is 15 W. For installation, the 2711PC-T6M20D8 can be panel-mounted with NEMA/UL Type 12, 13, 4X, and IP66-rated enclosures.

The 2711PC-T6M20D8 terminal runs the Windows CE 6.0 operating system with a built-in pdf viewer and standard features such as Network user interface, a command processor, a VNC server etc. With additional features such as ActiveX controls, backup restoration, and remote connectivity, it provides greater user flexibility. Devices such as a mouse or keyboard can be connected to the 2711PC-T6M20D8 for better control.
