The 22F-D018N104 belongs to the series called PowerFlex 4M, which is manufactured by Allen Bradley. This unit is an AC Drive, which is air cooled and provides users with effective motor speed control in a space-saving design. An integral CE compliant filtering option is not available on this 480 Volt AC three-phase drive with a 7.5 kW power rating and an 18 A output current. The 22F-D018N104 is designed with an IP20 rated enclosure and a fixed terminal connector for fast installation. This unit’s primary installation option is panel mounting.

The inrush current of this unit is limited over relay pre-charge. The drive has an available IR and slip compensation. The integral brake transistor delivers a dynamic braking option with low-cost brake resistors. This AC drive has a robust overload protection and can withstand a 150% current overload for 60 seconds or a 200% current overload for 3 seconds. The RS485/DSI communication port enables this inverter to be used in a multi-drop network configuration.

The 22F-D018N104 can be controlled over an integrally fixed keypad, over the RS485 network protocol, or over the terminal inputs (24 Volt DC logic can be set as either sink or source control via a DIP switch). A Serial Converter Module is used for the drive connection to the PC over which the user can configure the drive with appropriate software (DriveExplore or DriveTool SP). Fast backup and restoration are available through this option. For simple applications, the 22F-D018N104 AC drive can be quickly programmed over the 12 most common application parameters by using integral keypad with 4 digit display. If there is any need to save valuable panel, space zero stacking is can be applied in a working temperature of up to 40 degrees Celsius. 50 degrees Celsius working temperatures are tolerable with minimal drives spacing. Its dimensions are 10.24 x 5.12 x 7.09 inches (130 x 260 x 180 millimeters) and in total, it weighs about 4.8 kilograms (10.6 pounds).
