The AB 2711PC-T10C4D1 PanelView Plus 6 is a compact graphics terminal in the PanelView Plus series. Its hardware and software functions are ideal for meeting the needs of mid-size applications. With its compact design, it is a popular HMI for CompactLogix controllers. It has an RS-232 serial port, an Ethernet port and 2 USB ports that support serial and Ethernet communications. It can be configured with its FactoryTalk software that can support 25 displays and 200 alarm messages. Either RSLinx Enterprise software, version 5.2 or later or KEPServer software can be used for connecting it to a single CompactLogix controller.
The 2711PC-T10C4D1 compact terminal has a 10.4-inch color active-matrix TFT display with a resistive touch input. The display has a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and 18-bit color graphics. It weighs 5.6 lbs. and has dimensions of 9.77 x 12.97 x 2.18 in. It contains a 64 MB non-volatile flash memory and a 64 MB RAM. It also supports a Secure Digital (SD) card for external storage. It requires a DC input voltage of 18 - 30V DC (24V DC nominal). It has a maximum power consumption of 70 W. For installation, it has panel mounting option with NEMA/UL Type 12, 13, 4X, and IP54 or IP65 rated enclosures.
The 2711PC-T10C4D1 compact terminal runs the Windows CE 6.0 operating system with built-in pdf viewer and standard features such as Network user interface, command processor, VNC server etc. With features such as ActiveX controls, backup restore, and remote connectivity it provides greater user flexibility. External devices such as a mouse or a keyboard can be connected to it for better process control.
