Product Highlights

◇ The 1734-SSI is a Synchronous Serial Interface (SSI) absolute encoder

module from the 1734 POINT I/O product family that is manufactured by

AB. This module is primarily used to coll data from absolute

encoders that support SSI protocol.  

◇ The 1734-SSI Synchronous Serial Interface Module by AB is

an electronic module, which collects data from a positioning encoder sensor,

which uses the SSI protocol. The 1734-SSI is a single-channel module with

a Point BUS current of 110mA and dissipates 0.94W power across the module.

It has 4 terminally-based units and 2 key-switch positions. 

◇ The 1734-SSI has a software preference word delay time between 16

ON-STATE current of 4mA at a 24V DC field voltage supply, which can

also max out at 5mA. The OFF-STATE input voltage at the field supply

voltage is 19V and it will max out at 24V and a current of 1.2mA. It has an

input impedance of 3.6 kOhms; which also maxes out at 4.7 kOhms.
